Supervised FAU Graduate Assistants form the bulk of our workforce. Hand picked from our Department as well as the VPT Specialty/Certificate Program, the VPT Lab provides many of our graduate students with additional experience with Visual Planning Technology by providing Real World Experience. This gives students an opportunity for supervised training. It also means sponsors receive state-of-the-art professional results at a lower cost.

If you are thinking of sponsoring a VPT Lab research project, you will be helping out both the South Florida Planning Community and the University. You will be able to speak not only with the project coordinator, but also with the graduate student. Because of this partnership, we are happy to say that many of our graduates students go on to work for our sponsors after they complete their graduate degrees.
