3D planning and design is increasingly facilitated by a suite of software products that feature CAD and GIS functionality. Through 3D modeling (dynamically connected to a GIS database), we can now explore ideas in land development, transportation, green space preservation, and emergency management with a better understanding of their outcomes. |
