 Study Area
The study area consists of the coastal portions of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas, where coastal portion is defined as the coastal counties and the counties immediately inland of them - that is, an area two counties "deep."
